"Trash to Treasure" Thursday

Leslie, my buddy from "My Country Home" Blog Sent me a pic of a soap dispenser she painted, using regular latex paint, but sealed it real well. She then printed the word "soap" on it. She had just finished re-painting her half bath and wanted the soap dispenser to match, and as I always say " necessity is the mother of invention ( ok it was Edison that first said it)" ...here is a pic ( Leslie says excuse the quality as it was taken with a cell phone) ... Thanks Leslie !!

My T2T Project:
So....I started out my Trash to Treasure Project and didn't actually plan on doing a tutorial, but it turned out that way so here ya go.

PinCushion should just fit right into the lid, no gluing or adhesive necessary !

  6. Oh, I love it Robin! Very simple and very useful...hmmmm...I have a bunch of lids from the candles from the thrift store...hmmmm

I am even more embarassed by the picture seeing it on your blog. I'm going to have to try to get a better one! That's what I get trying to snap a quick photo late last night and not checking my e-mail to see what it looked like before going back to bed! I tried messing with it through Picasa...it's better than it was but not good!
