Here is a pic of the few things I have been working on and staring at for a few days....I've done up a few stitchery doodles and then an Annie doll similar to the one doodle and a Rabbit doll is in the works, based on my doodle there...
I have such a problem getting my drawings symmetrical, that I usually need to draw, erase, re-draw, erase again, on and on ...till I eventually get the look I want, then I fold down the middle and cut out the side I like best, and finally tracing the form onto paper ( for my pattern)...
I have some little accessories in mind to add to the finished dolls, so those are yet to come...
I'm off to Wal-Mart and Joann's and maybe a favorite Quilt Shop for some much needed supplies and maybe a few not so "necessary" items.....LOL ....

ReplyDeleteI have been trying to make some patterns again but takes me too much concentration to draw them out - I am so bad; I generally draw them out on the fabric and sew as I go. I am a total pattern HAWG, though.

OHHH cant wait to see the finished products, the look great so far. I would never be able to tell by your patterns that you have trouble making them symmetrical.
